Good morning, everyone. I’m feeling super excited about this look today and just had to share it. Now I know the title has the word business in it but unfortunately unless you consider a long day of picture taking and editing business, although I sure do, it isn’t really. I spent a long time trying to figure out what to wear and was inspired to try out a more formal/ business look in this jumpsuit, the same one I’ve styled for A Festival Look. If you can’t tell I really really love that jumpsuit and cant believe a piece so specific could possibly be versatile. I chose to cover it up, as it is a bit revealing for professional attire, with my long vest from ASOS. I think the vest is probably the most important piece of the look, second to the jumpsuit, as it adds a chic feel and is quite elongating teamed with the jumpsuit. I tied a belt from an old duster coat to cinch in the waist for a slimming look.

Now as a serious question for you all: Would you be interested in seeing various pieces styled in different ways? Comment YES if you are & as always Thank you all so much for the support. xoxo

So we all know that fishnet tights are not just for cheeky night clubs anymore and have been sported around in the fashion industry for quite some time, making a major fashion statement in looks even today. Hoping I’m not too late on this trend I thought I’d share my way of styling fishnets. Sadly, some of the items I’m wearing are no longer available to be bought like my French Connection box clutch

Gingham from Sheinside

IMG_6826IMG_6846IMG_6848IMG_6816IMG_6817IMG_6822IMG_6793IMG_6789IMG_6850

I’ve done it! I’ve finally found a gingham piece I truly love and the best part is it’s under $50, thank god for Sheinside! I was, as usual, skeptical about this one as it appeared to look more like an outdoor table cloth than a dress with its massive size and extra peplum layer bursting at the bottom, but it works! I won’t lie, over sized is a major under statement for this dress and it’s probably best to avoid strolling in on a windy day unless you’re looking to pull a Marilyn Monroe but it is quite forgiving of your post brunch belly & that’s definitely a plus for me. The material is light weight and great for the coming warmer weather and I can see myself going for this many times for the summer.

Cold & Bold

And Borrowed from Boys

IMG_5912

Good morning lovely people and happy Friday. We’ve made it through the week fiercely! The weather’s been interesting lately, warm for the winter & cool for spring. But no worries if you’ve already packed up all your winter clothes here’s an idea, you can always borrow. In this case I’ve borrowed from boys. This top is from Forever 21 belonging to my brother and the jacket is my boyfriend’s. There’s something really fun about playing with over sized clothing, not to mention you can hide you winter body while you prep for that summer one.
