Testing Basics |The White T- Shirt

As some of you may know, around this time last year I made my test on a few basics, starting with the plain white tee. Unfortunately the interest died out then but I’m ready to give it another try.  “So why begin with the white t- shirt?”, you may ask; I think of a plain white tee, as mentioned previously, as a blank canvas almost. It can be styled in more ways than I can describe making it a universal classic.

Here I’ve chose to style my Everlane Box Cut Cotton Tee casually and comfortable, which from what I’ve see is what most people go for when styling a t- shirt. The fit of this particular t- shirt is easier to style than I had expected. The box cut ensures that there is no shape at all which I’ve grown to appreciate. It looks amazing with jeans and those “boyish” looks.

We are on the third day of June and it’s officially bare leg season. It’s a time to bust out the short shorts, mini skirts, and bikinis. Still giving the gingham trend a go, as it is not gone yet, I wore a mini skirt that I purchased on sale for $10 at H&M- actually it was gifted to me, thanks Brennan! If it weren’t for the wind giving me an unwanted Marilyn Monroe moment every 5 minutes it would have been perfect, but lets not blame the skirt for this. It’s the perfect skirt for roaming around town, if it’s not windy of course, and it ticks all the right marks having the gingham print and ruffles. This skirt is not yet on sale online but I will try my hardest to keep you posted if it does.
