A Very Casual Jeans and T-Shirt Kind of Look
This is my uniform.
Shop: J Crew ballet flats | Fiorelli Barbican Bag
On a typical day of running errands or working I’m in a look very similar to this one, a t shirt or button down, a pair of jeans, flats, and depending on the weather, a jacket. This is my uniform.
The slogan tee trend is a great way to sneak some color onto an ordinary look. Here is a similar tee to the one I’m wearing from Topshop having that same bold red pop of color. My over sized coat from NA-KD, although still new to my wardrobe, has been my absolute favorite for its versatility, large enough to layer and looks great with many looks. My Zara mom jeans is another new piece but quickly made its way to my current favorites. Not only does it add that comfortable, cool factor to a look but it seems to be of fantastic quality, keeping its shape and structure after several washes.
Fishnets

So we all know that fishnet tights are not just for cheeky night clubs anymore and have been sported around in the fashion industry for quite some time, making a major fashion statement in looks even today. Hoping I’m not too late on this trend I thought I’d share my way of styling fishnets. Sadly, some of the items I’m wearing are no longer available to be bought like my French Connection box clutch

Gingham from Sheinside
I’ve done it! I’ve finally found a gingham piece I truly love and the best part is it’s under $50, thank god for Sheinside! I was, as usual, skeptical about this one as it appeared to look more like an outdoor table cloth than a dress with its massive size and extra peplum layer bursting at the bottom, but it works! I won’t lie, over sized is a major under statement for this dress and it’s probably best to avoid strolling in on a windy day unless you’re looking to pull a Marilyn Monroe but it is quite forgiving of your post brunch belly & that’s definitely a plus for me. The material is light weight and great for the coming warmer weather and I can see myself going for this many times for the summer.

New Trending Goodies at Zara & Asos
I Haven’t Forgotten Skinny Jeans
It’s a no brainer that denim is a trend and a staple that will be around forever. We’ve seen from the most ground breaking of details and cuts like patches and frayed hems to the shockingly flattering silhouettes like mom jeans. With all these new and exciting styles to wear your jeans I always feel secure going back to my simple skinny jeans. Super wide legs will eventually fall out and maybe back in our interests a few times but a good tight fitted jean will last a lifetime, I believe. I’ts almost hard to believe there was a time we weren’t wearing them. I prefer a high waist dark denim styled with a classic white shirt.
In this look I wore my jeans with a shirt dress to show the versatility of something so basic as a pair of jeans. I chose gold hardware accessories to brighten up the dark look. Ballet flats would make a great alternative to the pumps for comfort. Add on a faux fur gilet for a colder climate.
