Madia & Matilda Emily strap dress | H&M top | Asos vest | Boohoo boots | French Connection clutch
Good morning everyone, happy holidays, and welcome back to another blog post. Like I’ve mentioned before in a previous post I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with the talented Shalize Nicholas and her brand Madia & Matilda of skillfully crafted sustainable & up-cycled pieces. The idea is to reduce the waste of fabrics due to over consumption by using natural fibers, re worked vintage pieces, and end of the roll fabrics; genius! I got to choose out some of these pieces for myself and styling them has been nothing less than pleasurable.
In this look I’m wearing the Emily strap dress which I chose out with the holidays in mind. I love dressing up for the holidays as much as the next person but sometimes we tend to over spend on brand new dresses we can only wear once a year. This little black dress can get you to your grandma’s Christmas party, your company holiday party, & even your NYE party. How’s that for zero waste?
Madia & Matilda Imogen high neck top | Shein skirt (similar) | Zara trench coat (similar) | French Connection clutch | Forever 21 earrings | French Connection heels
The Imogen top needless to say is as well a multi use top. It’s chic look can be dressed up for work or a night out and dressed down for a casual day out.
This top is another great top for those causal leisure times. It makes for great layering in the winter season and it’s neutral color makes it easy to style in multiple looks.
I chose out the Louise tote bag as encouragement to ditch plastic bags when shopping to reduce waste.
So in the spirit of giving Madia & Matilda was generous to provide a voucher to giveaway to a lucky winner.
